Week 4 BOC There's an App for that

I would create an App called Rate My Fashion. Rate my Fashion would be an App where you could upload  a pic of what your wearing or insert a description of what your wearing. After you upload a pic or description of your outfit Rate your fashion will rate your outfit, and tell you weather your hot or not. What to add, change, and how to style your outfit for morning, afternoon, evening, and late night. How to blend color's, match, color block, stand out, one of a kinds, head turners, and vintage pieces. Rate My Fashion App is like your own personal stylist anytime of the day. Weather it's business, casual, athletic, formal, prom, black tie, corporate, etc. There will be tips for you. From head to toe including accessories. The app will also inform you if your over doing it. Sometimes to much could be the problem as well. The App will also allow to describe your body shape. That way it will direct you to idea's for your body shape. The App will teach you how to mix and match label's without clashing. Your shoe's don't always have to match your hand bag. If your dress is blue, you're look does not have to be blue. The App will also ask so personal questions. When a stylist knows your personality it makes it a lot easier to dress the client. The client is still an individual and the way you dress represents you. This App will be fast and quick. When you have no one to ask am I cute or does this match? Simply download the app and use it as your personal stylist. Looking good make you feel good. If you feel good you are happy. Making the customer happy is what you want.  I like this so much I wish I had it now.

Week 3 EOC: My Demographics

Millennials (or Generation Y)
"The 83 million children of the baby boomers, born between 1977 and 2000. One thing that all of the Millennials have in common is their utter fluency and comfort with digital technology. They don’t just embrace technology, it’s a way of life. The Millennials were the first generation to grow up in a world filled with computers, cellphones, satellite TV, iPods, and online social networks. A recent study found that 91 percent of Millennials are on the Web, making up 32 percent of all U.S. Internet users. According to another study, 77 percent of Millennials frequent social networking sites and 71 percent use instant messaging." Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation P. 74 There is no way I can live without my cell phone. It’s like my kid I wonder where it’s at and what it’s doing in my sleep. I have not had a land line in over 10 years. I stared using Mac and messaging my classmates and friends as early as the 8th grade. No matter what you do to day or where you go almost everything is ran by technology. You can pay bills, order supplies, shop, learn, work, and live all by a simply touch on your computer. Voicemails are no longer use as mush with texting in. You can just send a text quicker and the person will respond a lot faster vs voicemail. I don’t check my voicemail every day. Or every other day. You  can get a hold of me a lot faster by texting vs voicemail. Technology has cut back on a lot of paper as well. Filling out paper work on line is a lot faster and better for the environment. Companies can respond a lot faster, than waiting on your paper work to arrive in the mail.

Week 3 EOC: Making Money for Good

"Target (nyse: TGT - news - people ), the Minneapolis retailer, donated the most cash last year as a percentage of its 2003 earnings--$88.8 million, or 2.1%. Cash is perhaps the purest measure of corporate largesse". http://www.forbes.com/2005/11/11/charities-corporations-giving-cx_lm_1114charity.html

"Target has a standard no-solicitation rule at its properties, as it seeks to provide a "distraction-free shopping experience for its guests. Exemptions to this policy were previously made for the Salvation Army red kettles and bell-ringers outside Target stores during the holidays through Christmas."

In 2005, Target and the Salvation Army[63] created a joint effort called "The Target/Salvation Army Wish List," where online shoppers could donate goods to the organization for Hurricane victims by buying them directly from Target.com between November 25, 2005, and January 25, 2006.

Target Supports communities through giving. Each year Target gives 5 percent of their profit to communities, which adds up to more than $4 million each week. Target also believes in donating their time, talent and resources are equally important as the income they give. Target team members give hundreds of thousands of hours volunteering in their communities every year.  Giving back means a lot to the community.  The community and the economy is what helps and keeps businesses and corporation around longer.  Giving back is like giving to the people that has already given to them. And besides it’s a lot easier for a corporation to donate millions of dollars for the simple fact they have it and it’s a tax right off. That way everyone’s happy. Everyone in need is hard to find that why charities are always good. They have a purpose and the purpose is to help the needy.
